Who this notice covers
This notice describes this KnockMap marketing website and its launch list. KnockMap is the product name used by the team developing the app. Contact the team through our privacy request form. The app’s full operator details and separate app privacy notice will be published before app subscriptions open.
What you choose to share
If you join the launch list, we store your email address, optional phone platform, signup time and the wording version of your consent. We use this to let you know when KnockMap launches. We rely on the consent you give by ticking the email box. Signing up does not create an account or subscription.
If you contact us, we store your email, optional name, selected topic, message and submission time. We use these to handle your enquiry, based on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. Contacting us does not subscribe you to launch emails.
Leaving the launch list
After a new signup, we provide a private removal link. Save it if you would like to remove your signup yourself. You can also request removal using the email address you signed up with. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier use. Any launch email must include an opt-out route.
How the website is delivered
The site is hosted through OpenAI Sites using Cloudflare infrastructure. These providers process technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, which can include connection and request information. Form data is stored in a database available to the site owner and authorised website operators. The website does not publish signup or contact records.
To limit automated submissions, our form service uses a short-lived hash derived from an IP address and the current hour. Raw IP addresses are not saved in our signup or message records. Expired form-limit records are removed during subsequent form requests. Hosting providers may process their own security logs.
Cookies and tracking
This website’s code does not add advertising trackers, analytics cookies or local-storage profiles. Hosting and access services may use information necessary for their operation. Fonts and product imagery are served with the website.
How long information is kept
Launch-list information is kept while preparing and sending the requested launch announcement, unless you ask to leave sooner. We will review any remaining launch-list records after 12 months. Enquiry records are reviewed after 12 months and removed when no longer needed, unless there is a continuing request or a legal reason to retain them. Information may also remain temporarily in providers’ backups and logs under their retention arrangements.
Your choices and rights
You can ask about the information held about you, request correction or deletion, or raise a concern through the privacy request form. Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law also provides rights to restrict or object to processing and to data portability. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
You can raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
App data is separate
This marketing website does not request your device location or access your app’s leads, team records or payment details. The app’s separate privacy notice will explain those functions when app access is available.
Email delivery
Website enquiries are saved and routed to the appropriate KnockMap mailbox. When delivery is enabled, Resend processes the supplied contact details and message to deliver the enquiry. Launch-list notifications to our team contain the submitted email, platform and consent record.
